Need help identifying a mold or fungus? That can only be achieved using professional sampling methods and laboratory analysis. Your environment is too wet. if it’s a wet environment purposely it needs ventilation.

From the photo it looks like elephant bush/speckbloom. Pretty hardy succulent that can grow well over the height of a person in soil and also a common bonsai plant. You need to treat it like a succulent, not a house plant.

  3. Portulacaria afra! That’s my guy. The common name for this guy is elephant tree.

From the look of it, it looks like it needs water (or, if you’ve watered already, it means that you’ve watered too much and the root has rotted). It is an African origin, so it likes a lot of sun and heat. You water it when the leaves starts to shrivel. And when you do, you wanna get the water sprayer and gently spray the leaves.

When you do everything right, it will change the leaf color to beautiful white and pink (not all species do that, so don’t be disappointed if it doesn’t).

Pro tip for its visual aesthetic is that you wanna trim the thing relatively often. Whenever it starts to elongate. Then it branches out and gives out a fuller look.

So the key is a lot of light and warm. Cold will kill the guy, so if your place has winter, keep it away from the window and provide heat (don’t forget the light)
