I’ve gotten a lot of mixed responses from plant ID apps, even with a lot of verbal input. So.. please help me solve this one! It’s growing in a dappled sunlight area under oaks. I have yet to see it flower (planted last spring). Survived the ice. And the smell!! Is the best part, which have deterred the deer nicely.. it smells like the most delicious, fresh, sweet Mary Jane.. although I know that’s not what it is. It’s got the most elegant, just the right amount of skunkiness.. not the overwhelming kind. When I touch it, the scent lingers on my hands for a while. The leaves have a softness to them. I want more to use as a deer deterrent barrier, but first I need a name! (I really need to start marking my plants). Any help is much appreciated!

Copper canyon daisy! Incredible smell, and unmistakable.
