I think there might be both box elder and poison ivy in this photo.

Not sure where people are seeing a maple tree. All the vines on the fence are Toxicodendron radicans. More deeply lobed leaflets than the most common eastern North America morphology. If you’re on the west coast … a different species of Toxicodendron is the usual fence climber.
