My February-planted peas are almost ready to bloom and already about 3 feet tall 🌱

I’m growing both purple pod peas and green peas side by side—and while they both produce green peas inside, the purple pods are much easier to spot at harvest time.

And here’s a bonus: you can eat the leaves and tendrils too. Pea shoots are tender, fresh, and taste just like peas. Try them raw in salads or lightly sautéed.
