now growing 9 more leaves, presently. it now waters kind of like a bonsai. the pot looks small, but that's a huge pot, 17" i think. also, the ceiling is 11 feet or so.

it keeps pushing down & out as it touches the ceiling. after these leaves grow out, i'll top it & pull it back to the ceiling with another hook & line 🤷

as seen in pic #3, growing some nice adventitous roots. developing some exposed root action… considering guiding more of them downward by some means 🤔. going to throw away the elephant.

My word….! That’s an impressive plant! It looks like it’s never dropped a leaf in it’s life! I don’t think I have ever seen a plant that had leaves that were so consistent and free of any sort of damage. You should have a lot of pride in that n.n Looks like the only thing you really need to worry about, is that it looks like its going to fill that entire room one day LOL!

If you want to encourage those air roots to get longer so you can direct them, you can wrap a paper towel around them and wet it every so often. It may break off part of the air root when you do this, but that will actually encourage them to put out a more roots from that same area.

That answers my question about whether I need a bigger pot. Answer is no.

What I don’t understand is how it’s doing so well when it looks so far from the window
