I got this hybrid from Curious Plant (P. "Dragon) last week, my 3rd ping ever. I didn't have a lot of success in the past so I'm second-guessing everything.

This plant was very tall and skinny, with the leaves very compacted when I got it. It wanted to fall over even with a half inch or so of the rhyzome buried. So I lifted it a bit and used some coarser lava rock to hold it in place.

It seems to be doing okay but it's only a few days.

Experienced Ping growers, does this look like it's going to invite rot? Should I try to lift it higher now or let it acclimate first? Or just leave it alone?

Mix is sand, calcined clay, pumice, perlite, vermiculite, and akadama.
