This is in a yard down the street from me, hanging over a fence. I'm pretty good with native plant identification, but gardens are a mystery to me. I'm in southwest Canada if that helps.

I’m north of Seattle and this creeps over our fence from a neighbor’s yard. I’ve found it easy to contain and enjoy it.

Chocolate akebia. Horrible spreader. It is very very hard to control…Alas, I have been fighting it now for close to 8 years and still can’t keep it from covering up more desirable plants
