Sometimes the odd root can poke out because it’s looking for water, best way to tell is by pulling the plant out and having a look at the soil to root ratio, also if the roots are circling around the bottom of the pot then it’s definitely time to repot

Not necessarily. If everything else seems fine, best to let it be. Pothos like being tight and cozy in their containers. My Neon has had several roots poking out for months now; the weather has been warmer so I will repot very soon. When it gets yellow leaves that’s when I know it’s time to give them some fresh soil. Your mileage may vary depending on several factors. If you’d like to repot, it won’t harm anything either! I think it’s personal preference. You could repot in a bigger container, or separate into multiple.

Sine you can’t really see through this pot, the only way to know if it needs to be upsized is really to take it out and look to see if it’s got too many roots/less dirt. Just bc one root is coming out doesn’t mean it needs a larger pot.
Unless there are other signs it’s root bound/not taking up water/nutrients….I’d leave it.
But, next time it’s dried out/needs watered, you can ease it out to take a look….if it’s fine, put it back, water like normal. If it’s rootbound, upsize.

If you can pull it out if the pot without soil spilling, it’s ready for transplant. One root can start growing out the bottom while there’s hardly any roots in the pot.
You’d have to take it out and see

Tengo unos potos que llevan unos dos años en la misma maceta y están muy bien.
