I grew my first alocasia from a corm and im just so happy, I wanted to share.

Thoughts on best way to remove it from the little humidity cup I have it in so I dont shock and kill it immediately?

What a cute first leaf! šŸ˜ Came here to ask the same actually! This is my first baby alocasia from a corm. She’s black velvet pink and I bought her from somebody else so it’s also my first pink baby (just a little bit of pink for now but I’m excited for the future)! I’ll lurk here for advice on how and when to transfer in to a bigger pot.

I just leave mine until they have a good second or even third leaf. If they are just in perlite you can add a bit of chunky soil to the cup. Don’t cover the corm. Or I’ve even lifted it out added the chunky soil underneath and let them grow. You’ve got a lot of room for growth in those little cups.
