I repotted this monstera deliciosa about a month ago because the other pot did not drain. It looked like this before too, kinda droopy and stemmy.
Getting more new leaves since repotting. We also got on a better watering schedule (like one every 2 weeks ā before, we were not consistent/keeping track). Also recently got this grow light because we donāt get much direct sun in the living room; I keep it on all day most days. Still, thought, I feel like sheās not looking great!
My roommate has had this plant for like 5 years and when we first moved in together it looked betterā¦I think sheās mad at me for repotting and blaming me for its current state! But like I said, it was worse before repotting! IDK Iām not good at this, help!

I think if you put it closer to the window it will start to perk up soon
Light
Iām no expert by any means but it looks like itās quite etiolated, probably needs a lot more light
Definitely a good idea to repot if there was no drainage! But looks like itās not very bright where it is, and that grow light is small/far compared to the plant. Are you able to switch its spot?
If this isn’t your plant, why are you even touching it? I would be pissed too if my housemate decided they knew better and messed around with my plants.
Maybe lower the grow light if you canāt move it toward the window.
Not here to comment on the roommate dynamics but to get the traditional monstera look where all the leaves face one direction, it should be in a bright window or have a front-facing grow light.
Those grow lights arenāt powerful enough imo. You can download a par meter to check how much light itās getting. Compare to light coming through a south facing window with decent light to get a sense of how much light youāre aiming for. You canāt trust your eyes as our eyes are constantly adjusting how much light we see. What we deem as bright enough in an indoor space can be nowhere near what plants need to thrive or even survive. I went around my house and realized why past plants didnāt make it even in my brightest rooms.
Stop watering on a schedule. Only water when needed.
never water houseplants on a schedule, finger check soil
Needs more light and imo more support
Also, it looks like monstera borsigiana, not monstera deliciosa.
I would place it on the other side of couch to start and consider upgrading those stakes into a moss pole. Iād also clean it up
