Hi all,

Looking for some reassurance and help.

I bought two of these raised plastic trough planters from Aldi.

78 X 39 X H 84 cm and 50 litre capacity.

The cover sits 21cm on top of the main planter.

The depth of the main planter empty is 25cm.

Can I.

Put my Tenderstem broccoli and Okra in one?

Or

Separate them out?

See picture of current seedling haul.

Thinking they will get too big or high for this type of set up?

Would buckets or those builder tubs inside be better or grow bags?

I do have an outside raised bed, but live near the sea.

I know the Okra wouldn't do well outside.

Also have chives, spinach, basil and Thai basil.

But guess that would be over crowded.

Maybe buy another one.

Thanks in advance.

Broccoli will need to be outside the planter it won’t need to be in a enclosure. Howveer you’ll want to net it because the butterflies and caterpillars love it

For the grow house you can put small chilli plants or seedlings. Hard to grow full veg in it

I over wintered purple broccoli and harvested outside in march. Ita winter hardy so it’ll be fine outdoors
