Hey everyone!
So I have 2 separate questions.
I have a cucumber plant in a big planter. I plan on adding one more cucumber to it on the other side. I wanted to add a good companion plant to ward off pests, was thinking basil. Will it be too crowded with a basil plant? Or a couple?
Second question – I planted garlic in my raised beds back in November. In the first picture these garlics I actually planted AFTER the second picture, they don’t look too good. Like the stalks are all fallen over, the stalks are skinny. I dug around a little bit to see what’s going on down there and there is garlic but it’s pretty small. Are these ready for harvest? Did it fail? We didn’t have much of a winter this year where I live so I’m wondering if they matured too early.
The second picture is garlic i planted a couple weeks before the first picture, it looks better but also not the best. Thoughts?
