Just received these guys and two are eating themselves.

I’d just leave them be. Eventually they’ll let go and open up. If you try to separate them there’s a risk of damaging the traps. It’ll likely happen again at some point. They won’t damage themselves or anything and should open up on their own in a couple/few days.🙂
