

I’ve been growing these two elephant ear corms for awhile but this year coming out of hibernation the bigger corm has two spears coming from the top growth point. I included a picture of them last year.. just one growth covers the entire top of the corm as you can see in the photo.. so how is it going to be physically possible for two full sized growth to co-exist space wise this year? Do I need to remove one of the growth points for the health of the plant?
These are planted in full sun and get tons of water and then I overwinter them in the garage every winter. Maybe this is a stress response idk

These look perfectly healthy to me. I think that’s just the casing separating from the new leaf. Either way, you have healthy new growth.
