I put these orchids in a cloche last summer and they both started blooming a few months ago! Unfortunately the one in back already dropped blooms but this one in front is going strong!
It’s worth pointing out that you probably would be better off growing the plants outside of the cloche. They don’t actually need high humidity – standard household humidity is generally fine – and you’re at higher risk of fungal issues because of the limited airflow. Phals, like a lot of epiphytic orchids, tend to do better with good airflow.
But if you do decide to take em out of the cloche, there are definitely other orchids that would do well in there (because they actually do need higher humidity and/or aren’t as fussed about stagnant air).
