Just received this sinbad begonia bare root in the mail and it has roots but not many… pretty worried that it won't make it. Anyone have any advice on how I can revive it?

Is looks like a leaf bud is coming out but the discoloration on the middle of the stem worries me that it’s rotted out. Is it squishy??

You’re going to have to cut the squishy part off. Whatever is left you’ll need to propagate. I’d reccomend sticking it in perlite in A really small cup and fill a third up with water to semi hydro prop it. Put it in a ziplock bag and blow it up with air then seal. Put it in a sunny area.
