Walking the dog this morning in Gloucestershire, UK and my dog made a bee line for this plant. Standard Labrador behaviour as she was ready to chomp down on it. Just wondering what it could be? She didn’t eat it, silly chonk, but it’s not something I recognise or know if it’s safe for a dog to eat.

Edit: just to make clear, I’m just asking what the plant is and not if it’s safe to eat. Just in case this breaks the rules.

Could be a Virginia stickseed/hackelia virginiana
Edit: also known as beggar’s lice, unkindly.
