It’s time to enter your home garden/landscaping or business front in the yearly Cheatham County Master Gardener Beautification Program.
The Master Gardeners will send a team to judge your entry; if it meets the guidelines, you will be notified and a Beautification Sign will be installed on your property.
The mayors in Ashland City, Pleasant View, and the Cheatham County mayor select one participant in their area for an additional award —the Mayor’s Award. It is hung below the larger sign! This project is sponsored by the non-profit, Cheatham County Master Gardeners. All the volunteers in the organization work together to make Cheatham Country a great place to live!
You can obtain an application and rules sheet for details on how to participate from the Cheatham UT Extension office, located at 316 Frey Street in Ashland City. The office is open 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday but hurry, the deadline to turn in your application in May 16!
