Good job on acquiring a light. That said, I’m going to tell you that you need more. I’m sorry. 💚 Variegated plants have increased light requirements due to having less chlorophyll and these are beasts for light.
First, if possible, I would switch the light around so that it’s in front of the plant more so than above it, if that makes sense and if it’s even possible. Ideally, a vertical or upright lighting system works best with these to induce good morphology. This means it’s more aesthetically pleasing. The overhead light causes the leaves to have a horizontal poise. This isn’t ideal because it tends to block light from the lower leaves. This means that they will senesce prematurely.
What I’m basically saying is that this is okay for now, but I encourage you to keep exploring lighting options and consider something that you place in front of the plant, unless you choose to go with a sunny window.
