And thats because when I bought this baby, she already had a bud. Ironically, this is the tiniest begonia, only a 2” pot. My other begonias are big and look healthy, but no flowers or buds over the last several years! Currently they are in a shaded southern window that gets indirect light (except for the red cane, who seems hardier so I just moved to the eastern window to get direct morning light) and get a thorough watering when the top of the soil is dry. Recently repotted with a begonia mix of African violet soil, perlite, and coco coir. Just started adding a bit of super thrive fertilizer into the water occasionally. How do you get yours to flower?
