Capesthorne Hall and Gardens will host its popular Plant Hunters’ Fair this weekend. Visitors can browse the winning line-up of the best nurseries, the charming and beautiful gardens. For this special event Capesthorne Hall and Gardens are offering entry to the Gardens and Plant Fair for £4 (Children 5-16 years old: £1).

Martin Blow of Plant Hunters’ Fairs said: “We are so pleased to return to this wonderful venue for what is one of the best value days out around for plant and garden lovers. It’s a great time to get out in the garden and beautify your borders and perk up your plots.

“This year we have a wonderful line-up of specialist growers with plants to suit novice gardeners as well as those rarer gems for the plant connoisseur. There will be plants of the moment for instant impact as well as later-blooming species to get planted now for a succession of colour.

“This brilliant range of plants is complemented by fabulous accessories and décor items for your garden. If you need some advice to help you choose, then there are nursery folk on hand to help, each an expert in their field with years of knowledge and experience, and full of useful tips.

“So, whether it’s bee-friendly perennials, shrubs, alpines, wildflowers, herbs, house plants, variegated or foliage plants you are sure to find something to create a blooming brilliant garden.  As well as the plant fair, Capesthorne Hall and Gardens has so much to explore with delightful gardens and lakes all set in over 100 acres of parkland.”
