I saved a mint cutting from a dinner dish and was hoping to grow a little mint plant from it. I left it in water for a couple days, and it grew roots and looked good, so I transferred it to a lil pot two days ago. When I checked on it today, it looks really bad, what happened to it and how can I save it?

I watered it the day when I transferred it to the pot, and again just now. It doesn’t really get any outdoor light, but I leave it under a lamp when it’s daytime, so it gets some light. Any help would be super appreciated!!

First two photos were taken a few days ago, and the last two were taken just now (sorry for the terrible lighting )

It’s mint. It’ll come back whether you want it to or not. Just keep it watered

Pick off the sick leaves and repot it in a bigger pot with good drainage holes. Make it happy if you want it. I’m growing buckets of Mint from grocery store cuttings. Keep trying if you fail they want to grow!

As hardy it is outside, it dies back in no time inside if there is not enough light. Pzt it outside or give it adequate light.

Just needs plenty of water, especially after a transplant to soil. I would put it in a window and keep the soil damp/moist for a while until you see new growth 🙂
