As the gardening season gets into full swing, B&M is stocking a range of plants and features that could truly transform your outdoor space. Shoppers have quite literally been making a dash to B&M to get their hands on one particular item — and it’ll only set you back £10.
TikTok creator Jodie at Home recently brought the bargain find to people’s attention online, singing its praises enthusiastically. Alongside footage of the product, she wrote: “Your sign to run to B&M for their £10 flamingo trees”, and the post swiftly got tongues wagging.
It’s not the first time the retailer has offered up fantastic gardening finds either. Just weeks ago, others revealed how another item can help your garden to look adorable.
Dozens of people commented to say how “stunning” the trees are, with some having already snapped them up previously. Many admitted the trees help their gardens look vibrant and beautiful.
One wrote: “Bought mine from B&M five years ago. It’s massive now.” Another added: “I bought mine there last spring and it’s already grown so much! Love it.”
A third replied: “£10. I’m going tomorrow!” Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “I bought two yesterday and planted them today.”
Someone else also chimed in with: “I got two of these from B&M last year. They were beautiful then died off over winter, and I didn’t think they would survive as they were just twigs, but they have come back even more lovely.”
One more said: “Omg, I need these!” When questioned about their popularity, Jodie also shared some valuable insight.

In the comments, she revealed her garden had remained virtually untouched for more than 25 years. The trees are attractive, reasonably priced and grow quickly, so she believes they’re ideal for a “budget garden glow up”.
If you’re aiming to transform your outdoor area without breaking the bank, it could be an excellent option. Many claim the trees can make a significant impact.
Where can you find them?
Salix Flamingo trees (Hakuro-Nishiki) are stocked at B&M Garden Centres, and they typically arrive in store during May for around £10.
They are frequently featured in “special buys” within the garden centre section and have a tendency to sell out quickly, so shoppers must act swiftly if they’re keen to secure some.
You simply need to bear in mind that they disappear from shelves rapidly. This is why people must move fast if they’re hoping to grab some.
If you’re unfamiliar with them, a flamingo tree is a well-loved, compact deciduous dwarf willow or shrub, celebrated for its spring foliage showcasing vivid flamingo-pink, white and green mottled leaves.
It is frequently pruned into a “lollipop” standard shape and is perfect for small gardens or containers. This is why they’ve captured the hearts of so many.
The trees are perfect when planted in pots for patios, terraces or for framing doorways. They can also serve as focal points in small gardens or beds.
They are recognised for flourishing in damp, well-drained soil, making them ideal for positioning near ponds or water features. They need full sun or partial shade to achieve the most vibrant pink colouring.
Additionally, they favour moist soil and require regular watering, particularly when grown in containers. If you acquire one, it’s essential to prune the plant in early spring to help preserve its shape and promote the most vivid pink, fresh foliage.
