I, too, didn't know that Daffodils were the flowers that refuse to die. 😂 I bought my home in the summer of 2024. I waited until the spring of 25' to see what was actually growing.
The daffodils were encroaching on other plants so I pulled those up and tossed them into the trees that border my backyard thinking they'd decay.
Nope! They returned this Spring perfectly fine just laughing in my face! Yellow and white daffs all in the woods. 😂 I live in a town that has a Daff festival every year (hundreds of thousands planted in the park). All over town. I just don't want them in MY yard.😂 I planted native wildflowers instead 🥰
