This is my first begonia, and I got her last year as a leggy, light deprived prop.

All the new leaves are now growing out closely together and dark green. Not nearly as dry and crispy. The bottom 3 leaves are the original leaves… Didn't quite make it during my learning curve oops…

Should I take advantage of spring and chop her? I would love for her to branch, and I did chop the top after her last new leaf but I can't tell if any branching out will occur…

Any and all tips and suggestions welcome please and thank you I have no idea what I'm doing.

I think she is soooo pretty! I personally wouldn’t chop her!

If you for decide to chop, you can stick the cutting back in the same pot and it will fill out the plant. IME these things are very hardy and will take over your house when happy.
