Hey there! My Aglaonema has been getting brown, crispy tips on some of its leaves and I'm trying to figure out why. Plant is watered about once every 7-8 days. It is by a window resting on a radiator/AC getting full eastern exposure in a high rise.

About 6 months ago I had it repotted and the guy put a layer of sphagnum moss on top of the soil.
Could this be the culprit, maybe trapping too much moisture or affecting how I water it? The moss is pretty dried out and brown now.

The plant overall looks healthy and is actually blooming, so I don't think it's too stressed, just annoying to see the brown tips.

The moss is probably for decoration but has it been in the same spot always, wait for more people to chime in but maybe take off the moss? 6 months is enough time to acclimate, ask google in the meantime till more people come in.
