Live in Denver. It’s as dry as Gandhi’s sandal here and we’re under some water restrictions. Haven’t watered my grass yet. Is my lawn dead dead or is there still a chance?

If yes, how do I bring it back to life.

“Dry as Gandhi’s sandal” 🤣 sorry wish I could help on the grass but that’s too good

Thats what mine looked like (also near Denver). The soil was rock hard due to the lack of moisture. I power raked to remove the dead stuff. Waited til the last bit of moisture we got to soften up the ground and then aerated. We have some moisture coming this week so you could aerate after. Then I top dressed and over seeded. Watering for about 10 – 20 minutes a day on dry days. Basically whenever the top dress is starting to look too dry.

Looks great to me. No maintenance required.

The snow this week should be about 4 inches. And personally never really work in my grass until mother days.

Look into some deep watering, and look into sea help humic acid.

Your lawn is in the “omg I forgot to check the roast!” level of cooked, brother.

Water it FFS. Restrictions are not saying you can’t water at all. Two days a week. Once in the AM and once in the PM on those days. But you need to do more than that in short term to save it.

Give it some Brawndo. It has electrolytes. It was plants crave.

Looks like someone lite it to 350°F and let it roast for too long. So, yes, your lawn is cooked…for too long.

My whole neighborhood looks like that (denver as well). Shit is crazy

I think most lawns here in CO are going to look like that.

If I can keep my front yard decent, I will reno the back yard in the fall.

    Yellow:
    Ground ✔️
    Fence ✔️
    Sky ✔️

While it is cooked like toast the good news is its probably just because the entire area is dying
