Located in Puget Sound, WA. About 4ft tall shrub. Very narrow leaves that have tiny baby hairs on them growing in symmetrical clusters. No flowers or fruits right now. We’ll need to relocate it or get rid of it to add AC to our home, so we’re curious if it’s worth keeping!
Tried identifying based on the Seek app with no luck. I’ve been pointed to Coyote Willow or Elaeagnus by AI, but I’m skeptical based on the leaf growth pattern and size. Thanks for your help!😊

It’s a Bamboo. Arundinaria nitida I think. If it is it grows wonderfully in a pot as a feature plant. Check it out 🇬🇧

How about false olive / Buddleja saligna? (clipped pic)
Edit: if this is it, keeping points are good fragrance, great for bees, also attracts birds and butterflies.

If it flowers little yellow flowers early in the season that smell HEAVENLY, it could Russian Olive, but maybe Silverberry? Are there tiny thorns on the branches?
This has a similar leaf arrangement to Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) but I’m not totally sold on that ID. But it would make sense to have in cultivation. It is absolutely not Coyote Willow.
Looks a lot like goji berry. What do you think?
Possibly some sort of yew? They can look like rosemary but are quite toxic. Though I’m not familiar enough to guess which
How does it smell? Tarragon?
