Was given this plant as a gift, and I remember googling whatever the name was on the tag to confirm it was cat safe and it was (I don’t remember now what was on the tag). Now this flower is coming up and it looks like the peace lily flower, and I’m worried it was mislabeled? I have a cat and don’t want him to get sick. Thank you!

Yes! But these are only mildly toxic to cats – at most might make him spit up. I’ve always had cats and they don’t chomp on my peace lily.
Note that it is not a true lily – those are absolutely lethal to cats and should not come in your house at all.
If your cat were to eat a whole leaf or flower, it might make him sick, but basically they are OK in a household with cats.
