Found under callistemon this morning. It looks like pellets of animal feed but we dont have that around. Also found with what looks like fly heads scattered around. And some skeletonised leaves. Please help!

You’ve got caterpillars (source: I have the exact same problem on the same plant). Inspect the branches closely for black furry caterpillars.
Look up into the tree and see if you can see caterpillars. At first it looked like rodent droppings after consuming bait, but the caterpillars theory sits more in line with what I am seeing
I found one, thanks everyone! Im sure there are more in there – are these something i need to remove? Callistemons are approx 1 year old.
