Neighbor started having lawn company mow. His lawn started getting weeds and crabgrass, which have spread to my front lawn. What can I do to make my front lawn look better, gross, and get rid of the weeds?

As a noob here I’ve noticed a lot of us folks are in Texas. I just read the Bermuda bible linked on this sub, definitely give it a read. A lot of people are replying to other Texas/bermuda posts with suggestions totally contradicting the BB. At least if you read it you can decide what to follow.

Bermuda in Texas will bounce back if you help it a bit: mow it short and regularly, feed it during the growing season, and hit the crabgrass/weeds with a Bermuda‑safe weed killer (Quinclorac, etc.) so the Bermuda can thicken up and choke them out

For you guys in Texas , are there water restrictions for landscaping , and what does watering costing you?
