Today we’ve got another catch up / chatty video sharing my spring progress in the new garden project where moderate amounts of gardening have indeed been happening. Yes, this is definitely no instant Chelsea garden transformation but my work on the garden design, paths, new borders and beds is coming together and it’s very nearly planting time! In today’s video I talk though the key garden path decisions, exotic and naturalistic planting plans for May, reveal the new adventurous fire pit route and take supersized Cordyline cuttings…
0:00 Intro
1:06 Jungle garden plant update – an army of exotics ready to plant out and a coppiced Eucalyptus glaucescens
4:15 Central garden island beds – prepared with organic matter and nearly ready for planting!
7:19 New borders & path decision revealed – a new garden design appears
16:00 Chopping down and taking large Cordyline cuttings plus tidying the new garden path route
20:00 New path route sorted and coming up soon…
If you enjoy my videos and would like to help support my video and garden projects then it would be amazing if you could donate to my Ko-fi page here, any amount is appreciated: https://ko-fi.com/georgesjunglegarden
Thanks so much,
George

I've recently decided to start making a jungle garden , also recently just had a huge conifer taken down so will be holding on planting for this year and watch where the sun hits for rest of the year. But am looking at how you prepare the soil as I will be planting into ground level too, also which plants you choose . Watching with great interest 😊 no pressure 😅
Great video always very well put together 👌 Will look fantastic when all planted up looking forward to seeing the progress 👍
I’ve got 2 kids under 6, having an evening to myself in the garden is the stuff of dreams for me.
Went to Linden garden centre today, spent far too much money, your fault 😂
Like the mandalorian title:
“This is the way”
great video as usual. Well done sharing your dreams
You made the path choice I would have gone for, good job George!
Hi George. At the start 00:17 what is the plant on the right, next to the Tetrapanax please? Massive unusual shape leaf with slightly red edges. thanks.
