Hopefully not tree of heaven


This tree was ripped out I think two summers ago on the side of our garage, but it has magically grown back. In NY USA. I'm reading that it's not sumac but more likely tree of heaven because of the pink tipped new growth. True or false?

    Get you one of those plant watering bulbs and fill it with straight herbicide concentrate and stake it right next to it, nothing might not grow there for awhile but it will definitely have an effect on the root system.

    Keep at it. Eventually it will croak.
    Glyphosate translocates within the plant, I’d go for it.

    Spray with poison ivy killer, triclopyr, to kill.
