don’t take care of them much. that’s the point. just leave them in a bright sunlit area and water them 2-3 weeks apart. also make the medium of only pebbles and not soil.

Pot with drainage, acclimated to as much light as you can give it, water only when signs that shriveling up. Grow lights help if you don’t have hours of direct sunlight.

Set out plants up for success get well draining soil, enough light, and good temperature. Just try your best to recreate its natural environment.
I struggled for years because my environment isn’t the best for succulents and cactus due to the extreme heat and extreme rain. 13-14 hour of straight sun near the equator and winter is month of rain and no sun. But I made it work with a greenhouse. They won’t ever look perfect but as long as I enjoy them

Watering: Don’t over water them. Easiest way to kill succulents. They’re drought resistant and if you think you might be, you probably are. If you just repotted, fight the urge to water, their roots are damaged and need time to heal or they will rot, give them at least 5 days. This got me on my first run. Then you van either drown them good and make aure the water doesnt lunger at the top. If its not draining, rot. Make sure the pot isn’t too big, it will hold water and same result.
Soil: if you got from a nursery, give her a couple days to acclimate to new environment, and repot to 70% Gritty Mix, 30% Cactus, Succ mix. Your Eche will thank you. As said above, dont want for 5-7 days so roots can heal. If you already watered wait until soil is bone dry, them repot.
Sun: I live in Phoenix and the sun is mean to Succs in direct light. I prefer my good full spectrum LED lights 12-14 hours a day. Eches are sun hogs. If you live somewhere where I doesnt go about 90 10-4pm put them out, they will suck it up. If it gets below 65F regularly, bring them in, its too cold.
I hope this help. That’s a beautiful E. and looks hardy, follow these steps and it should thrive. I use indoor cactus food mixed in water every 2 months or so just to keep their soil thriving.
