1 leaf is still trying to unsheath and it has been weeks and I noticed this morning that another is trying to do the same thing. Do I need more humidity or more lighting?
My Birkin was experiencing the same thing for over a month. Since I’m new to caring for plants, I wasn’t sure if there was anything I could do to help. However, last week, they unfurled into two beautiful leaves, which was such a lovely surprise! 🫠

I’ve personally started helping them out when they bend at such a sharp angle as I worry they might snap in the process. Using a wet q-tip you can gently massage below and above the leaf sheath and see if gentle pressure helps free it. Though be very careful not to snap anything. Disclaimer I’m just a hobbyist this is not any sort of authoritative advice, simply me speaking from experience
