Been trying to propagate rosemary multiple times and they just rot and go black, I tried doing thyme as well directly in soil but they just dried up and died. How long does it take for both to root? I hope it works this time as I found a new way to hold the greens above water so only roots are submerged. Propagating herbs in herb jars lol full circle

if you try to propagate them in just soil ( best method IMO), make sure they have humidity especially near the root area, I would take larger cuttings, bury deeper, and maybe even make a little cover for them
