Is it rooted into the brick or on a lattice? It’s beautiful, does it damage the building?

I was thinking about putting it on a trellis that sits very near my detached garage which has fiber cement siding.

Would it run off the trellis and onto the garage? Does it damage fiber cement siding?

I can hear this picture in the summer. Millions of happy bees

We’re considering growing this up a wall next to our deck. Does it get buggy? I don’t want to make our deck worse than it already is

  6. Japanese beetles are highly attracted (love) Virginia creeper. Yuck… I can hear the munching now.

Were there windows on that side of the house?

Honestly this is way too overgrown, especially for red brick. Kinda disappointing

Your brick and particularly the mortar is certainly crumbling under there.

I know the arguments against it but it looks great. Is this in south philly?

Looks great, but idk if I’d risk the possible deterioration of the brick for it.
