Powdery mildew or bacterial leaf spot on my maculata? Or something else? I have removed the affected leaves and treated with neem oil for now. I am very upset, I love this plant. She is in 60% humidity, a constant 21 degrees C and never overhead watered. I water as my soil sensors suggest (usually every 10 days or so) with distilled water and foliage focus, and she has her own grow light.

neem oil…. is going to cause long term stress on your plant!!! neem oil is awful stuff, it is poisonous, the only time it should be used is when the damage from whatever pest is affecting it will be worse than what spraying “OIL” on your plant will do. [oil suffocates plants by stopping transpiration, heavy duty damage…]

do you normally spray your plant? if yes, stop that, if no, continue not spraying your house plant…

does it sit against a wall or other plants? if yes, move it so leaves do not touch walls and other plants. water droplets can negatively affect transpiration, but even worse, give mold the moisture it needs to grow..

Air circulation, and a cheep air filter, along with good house keeping, will help with mold.

Do you have mold? I don’t think so, I think you have water damage though from condensation or spraying.
