I am going to assume hard water residue, several plants that I picked up from nursery’s have the same issue because the workers often spray the leaves down as well as water the plants. When the water dries, it leaves a residue.

Water or a fertilizer type residue from the grower before they were shipped out. Nothing to worry about. You can wipe the leaves off with a damp paper towel and it should come off
