Air layering Pink Princess Philodendron?

I just acquired this PPP, I want to air layer her, before chopping her down and making like 7 plants. I'm pretty new to philodendron and air layering, her aerial roots seems dry, can I do it anyway and new roots will come from the stem or not ? (I'm going to do it with sphagnum moss)

And for her leaf, should I let dry the browning part or cut it right away ?
