Hello! I would like to ask what plant is this so I can get it a new pot and soil, and care for it accordingly! It was in a sorry state for a while but now that I've seen new leaves sprouting healthily I would love to see it thrive better 😀

Tradescantia Purple Heart considered more like succulent and should be treated like succulent. Water when completely dry and tolerant to being dry. Giving it lots of light will keep it dark purple and will grow fast. It also has really pretty light purple flowers when it’s happy
They like to grow horizontally, not so much vertically, so they look great in a pot where they can cascade over the side. They look best when a bit crowded together because they can thin out overtime. So, a small and tall pot looks good or a hanging basket. You can keep it outside during summer and bring it in for the winter. It will die back quite a bit in winter, but won’t be dead. It will start growing again in spring.
