  1. Did I miss a live Saturday morning show today? I bought your brand of cacao to add to my bullet proof coffee every morning. Then I discovered that yes, cacao powder is very high in oxalates. Studies show it contains 650–783 mg of total oxalate per 100 grams, with some sources reporting up to 623 mg per 100 grams or even 900 mg in concentrated forms. A single tablespoon (about 5g) can contain 40–100 mg of oxalates, placing it among the highest dietary sources. Needless to say, as a very high CAC score person, I tossed the cacao in the trash. Wishing you a blessed weekend!

  2. Hello there dear kaye. Xxwatching your video now before i go to mum, xxits a beautiful coaster 😊xxgod bless you,xx😊

  4. I was recently diagnosed with a condition affecting my kidneys and read the tea should be limited due to oxalates. I thought I had been doing a good thing for years drinking tea but now I’m sticking mainly to water.

  5. Thanks so much for the info on oxalates and specifically in our beloved Cacao. I have never had a problem with kidney stones but do limit foods that contain oxalates. Oxalates also can affect your thyroid especially if you are hypothyroid with Hashimoto's. I add maple syrup and golden milk mix to my cacao but only drink it maybe 3 days a week. My grandmother had several percolators and I have a Presto 6 cup percolator that I just love. I still drink organic decaf coffee but only 1-2 times/week. Used to drink 4 cups/day of the hard stuff and just can't do that anymore. Hope you have a blessed weekend…

  6. Thanks for the video, the informative is so valuable. I've recently learned about oxylates in peanut butter and spinach.. again much appreciated 😊

  7. Thank you for the information, Kaye! I don't drink cacao regularly, but I do tend to eat chocolate in waves πŸ™„. My hubby and I have been drinking raw milk, especially as a treat with a few cookies after supper, and I like it for a quick breakfast with peanut butter toast on Sunday morning. I switched to organic cacao in all my baking several years ago, and no one has any clue!

  8. Afternoon !!! I've read that greens such as collards contain same thing. I grew up on the farm & ranch eating collards , mustards , turnips. We were taught then by our adults that there healthy. We grew our own veggies, slaughtered our beef , pork, chicken . As close to natural as possible. My daughter just brought me some soft chocolate chip cookies ! My sister is teaching her to cook. I ate 1 with an 8 ounce glass of goat's milk. Feeling more like normal everyday now. Had an energy burst yesterday evening so managed to get kitchen cleaned & laundry gathered. Good couple hours. Thank my dear Lady for you support !!! Right now digestion is my critical goal ! Have great afternoon Miss Kaye !!!

  9. Ok then why are you keeping all of those cards if you can't look to see who the coaster is from? Maybe time to do some purging 😊

  10. Hello Kaye, after I had surgery to remove kidney stones in 2014, I started using a herb product called Stone Breaker, and am learning the best pairing of foods to avoid getting kidney stones.

  11. The way you are having your cacao tastes like Bosco πŸ˜‹ thanks for the heads up & tip. A sweet night to you, Sister golden hair πŸΎπŸ’“
