Hello everyone it’s me again with another question/call for help. Last night, a rainstorm went over my house and I didn’t know it was happening. This morning I check on my plants and every one of them survived. Even the mint survived but my Hydrangea didn’t? at least it seems like she’s suffering.. All these stems were upright and strong, none of the flowers weighed it down but picking the stems up now I can feel the floppiness and it is worrying me a lot. Some of the stems have cracks? Shown in picture 2. This is my first hydrangea plant and they are my favorite. I’m really worried she won’t get upright again. I watered her the day before the storm pretty significantly too i wonder if she’s just dramatic or actually drowning? I hear Hydrangeas can be pretty dramatic. The last picture is of the Hydrangea gaining color and the blooms haven’t gotten any bigger just pinker. So that is a gauge on flower heaviness. Please let me know, thanks.

Happens with rain and newer plants… Just stake/hoop her up. Best you can do for now

give her some support and let the soil dry a bit.
