A little-known retailer is offering a double discount on the large outdoor rug, making it cheaper than Amazon

Outdoor rugs can be the perfect addition to gardens and patios, with them bringing a splash of colour while offering comfort and practicality. A ‘luxury’ waterproof option is being hailed by shoppers for ‘covering ugly areas’ – and it’s now on sale.
Online marketplace Yimbly (owned by this site’s parent company Reach Plc) is currently offering the HOMESCAPES Luxury Outdoor Rug that’s waterproof and reversible on sale for £32.99, reduced from £39.99. However, shoppers who enter the discount code SPRING10 at the checkout can save even more, snapping up the vibrant yellow Aztec rug for £29.70.
This price is for the large 180cm x 270cm rug and is cheaper than Amazon, where the same rug is currently on offer for £32.99. The rug, which is available in three other sizes at varying prices, is made from a ‘lightweight and waterproof’ 100% recycle polypropylene fabric that’s ‘ideal for all weathers and spaces’.
As well as being ideal for use at home, the HOMESCAPES rug is perfect for days at the beach, picnics, or camping and caravanning trips. Yimbly also sells the rug in several other striking designs in various colours, allowing shoppers to choose an option that matches their garden decor.
Elsewhere, Dunelm has the Argento Textured Indoor Outdoor Rug available in several sizes with prices starting at £39. One shopper said it’s ‘great value and good quality’, however, someone else found it is ‘not waterproof’.

Over at Debenhams, the Valiant Large Waterproof Garden Rug in a grey geometric print is currently on sale for £30, reduced from £39.99. Only three people have reviewed it to date, with all of them awarding it five stars.
Back to the yellow Aztec print HOMESCAPES Luxury Outdoor Rug, there are currently no reviews on Yimbly. However, over on Amazon, it has been rated 4.6 out of five from over 2,800 customers. One person wrote: “Bought to cover an ugly area between two seating areas. Looks great and doesn’t slip, delighted.”

Another commented: “Really good quality and thickness. Looks fab outside our camper and can be pegged down to stop it blowing away. Bright, vibrant colours and can be used either way up. Also used outside at a party when the grass needed protecting. Fab outdoor rug, easy to clean and dust off if it gets mucky. Highly recommended.”
However, one Amazon shopper wasn’t happy with the colour of the rug, as they explained: “This rug is much brighter in real life, a vivid citrus yellow. I had hoped it would be more muted, like it is in the photo.”
In contrast, someone else has been so impressed with the HOMESCAPES Luxury Outdoor Rug that they’ve ordered multiple. They shared: “This is the third one I’ve ordered for our outside spaces. They are very good value and well-made.”
