Help! Brown spots on leaves.

Hi, I bought my fiddle leaf fig 24 days ago. It’s around 5 feet tall. I’ve been noticing brown spots around the leaves (see pics). I’ve been watering about once a week since the heat was on in our apartment and the moisture meter I bought indicated that the soil was dry. There were a couple spots like these when I bought it but there’s definitely more than before. Anyone know what might be going on and how to heal it?
