I have never tried rooting a validus. I have had difficulty rooting terscheki in the past. Iam planning on degrafting this sals validus that is grafted on pc, i will add rooting hormones, any other suggestions.

    maybe make some cuts on the bottom before you degraft and apply rooting hormome. then wait a bit and see if you see roots forming and degraft then.

    havent tried it yet but thought alot about it

    Gotta weigh 15 or 20 lbs.it was grafted in 2021. Pc is amazing rootstock.

    Ime validus is not terribly difficult to root. Just takes patience

  6. You know, I’ve been wanting to try the ValidusxSASS seeds from misplant for an ultra thick guy. I’m definitely doing it now. Amazing.
