Strawberries or herbs would do well in here. If you go strawberries, it wouldn’t be the worst idea if you’re able to build something of a “topper” with hardware cloth and 1x2s, giving a good 6-9 inches of headspace (keep away from birds and squirrels). Otherwise, I’d go with herb garden.

I have herbs in mine. I did have to move thyme and oregano to thrift own container because they quickly took over.

What kind of sun exposure does the planter have?
