Labrador Retrievers make excellent gardeners, especially if you want a fish pond-sized hole in your front yard! Jackie recently tried out his green paws while his dad was at work, and the results are epic. Although the Chocolate Labrador is reluctant to take credit for his work (he’s just very humble), Dad is fairly convinced it was Jackie’s creation.
When Dad got home from work, he discovered a large hole in the garden next to the house. Jackie was standing nearby, but as you’ll see in the Instagram video, there’s really no hard evidence that the Lab was the culprit.
Well, maybe there are a few signs that point to the guilty party, but without making eye contact, the Chocolate Labrador is pleading the Fifth. As the video starts, Dad says, “Jackie, what have you been up to while I’ve been at work?” The dog’s eyes are barely open as he tries his hardest to avoid looking Dad in the eyes.

As Dad keeps talking, this hilarious dog keeps his eyes closed. I mean, his head is in the right position to look up at his human, but his eyes are just fluttering a little, not opening. It’s the best version of deniability I’ve ever seen!
Jackie Gets Support From His Biggest Fans
Many of the Chocolate Labrador’s followers came to his defense, including @chowderthebulldog1, who pointed out, “Jackie has been doing hard labor for you while you were at work. It’s an amazing hole. Where is your gratitude?😉❤️”
Then @annikauncensored joked, “Digging for oil – Jackie knows times are tough! 😂” and @actorsaccentcoach suggested, “I think he believes that if he can’t see you, then you can’t see him! 🤣”
Let’s face it, there’s no concrete evidence that Jackie is the guilty party, but we can all agree that he’s not exactly giving off innocent vibes either!
