    I could be just paranoid but it looks like trumpet creeper. If it is i would dig it up straight away before it becomes a problem

    I’d just cut the dead sticks off and leave it be for now until you decide if you want it there.

    This is a yellow bells growing back from its root after dying to the ground during the winter. It’s not crowding out your shrub, it is your shrub. Cut out the dead growth if you want it to look tidy

    Trim all the dead branches, fertilize and water. Hopefully it will come back even stronger

    Yellow bells or Esperanza. Late blooming plant that dies back every year and comes back bigger and stronger. Cut back the old growth branches and pretty soon the new growth will cover it up. Some organic compost or fertilizer will really allow it to thrive!
