When I report it I'm going to use a gritty mix (let me know if that's not a good idea). But when I do, should it go into a terra cotta pot or will plastic be better? And how often do I water? Like every 2 weeks, once a month?
Gritty Soil Mix…. Calcined Clay, Full Sized Chicken Grit, Pumice and a little bit of happy frog soil.

It all depends on where you live, what your growing conditions are, where you plan to place that little beauty, and your attention to detail. I suggest terra cotta, I use miracle grow cactus soil as a base and add pumice, coconut husk chips chopped up a bit(coconut products can be purchased at petco/smart) coconut coir, small orchid bark, coarse playground sand,. I also suggest going on YouTube and watching Cactus Quest and listening to some of his greenhouse tours.
I got one of these guys from Walmart a couple months ago. I have him at the bottom of my grow tent in a lil terracotta pot with 50/50 cactus soil and perlite I water him when the soil is completely dry and he’s currently flowering my lights in my tent are quite bright and he turned a pretty pink on top I’ll send some pictures when I get home
